Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Greece selects Cezanne Connect HRIS

Working with Compact SA, MSF Greece has selected Cezanne’s HR information system to help them rapidly match volunteers to specific humanitarian needs.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Greece is a non-governmental medical-humanitarian organization that provides emergency medical assistance to populations in danger. In 1990, MSF Greece was founded as an association. Since then the organization has provided medical assistance in more than 40 countries with the participation of over 450 volunteers.

From its inception, MSF-Greece has had the support of more than 136,000 private donors who make possible the operation of humanitarian programs. In the last 15 years, programs have been developed in Africa, countries of the ex-Soviet Union, Asia, Greece and the Balkans.

The organization relies on volunteers, including doctors, nurses, logisticians, administrators, and other medical and non-medical professionals, to help them in their work. For MSF-Greece, being able to respond as quickly and effectively as possible to a medical emergency is of the highest priority. That means being able to rapidly put together teams of volunteers with the right mixture of skills and experience needed to deal with the different humanitarian situations where the organization provides critical help.

MSF-Greece has a database of hundreds of volunteers. and needed a solution that would enable them to manage the wide range of data needed to make those decisions effectively and timely.

Working with Compact SA, the leading supplier of integrated solutions for Human Capital Management in Greece, MSF Greece is implementing Cezanne Software’s HR software, Cezanne Connect, to help them achieve this objective.

As well as offering comprehensive functionality for HR administration, the Cezanne Connect HR software provides advanced support for employee profiling, allowing MSF-Greece to easily view information about their volunteers – from basic contact information through to detailed information about qualifications, skills, overseas experience, language or availability.

In addition to the core People module, MSF-Greece will also implement modules for Recruitment, Training and self-service. This will help them further streamline their HR activities, giving them more time to concentrate on the vital humanitarian work that they do.
