Byte chooses Roberto Gamerro to lead HR growth Byte Software House, Cezanne Software’s distributor in Italy since 2000 and a leading company in the area of technology solutions for HR management, has appointed Roberto Gamerro as the new General Manager of the Group. Gamerro will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operations of the Group’s different business units, and will also lead the development and launch of the new generation of their products, which are being developed around service-oriented architecture (SOA).

This appointment has special value for Cezanne because it puts at the helm of one of Cezanne’s most important distributors a person who has shared, for a long time, a common path with our company and who brings with him a deep knowledge of the Cezanne suite of products and of the expectations of hundreds of clients managed by Byte.

Born in 1952, Roberto Gamerro began his professional career in the IT industry in 1972 when he joined Formula, a company founded by Alberto Gabbai, the current President of Cezanne. In 1990 he became a member of the Board of Directors at Gruppo Formula, directly contributing to the company’s growth, which reached its zenith with the company’s listing in 1997. In the same year he was given the task of leading the international growth of the Cezanne Business Unit – the division that developed the human capital management solution of the same name – by directly managing the operations in Europe and in Latin America.

In 2000 he was made responsible for the management of the Formula HR Solutions division until it was acquired by Byte in September of the same year. Since then he has held the role of Delivery Director of the new HR business unit at Byte; making his vast experience, his passion and his energy available to Cezanne’s customers.
