Bring HR data to life with integrated organisation charting

A challenge for every organisation today is how best to manage, motivate and develop their most important asset – their people. To make good decisions, managers need comprehensive, easily accessible workforce information.

HRCharter does much more than generate organisation charts from existing HR data. It makes HR-related information much more accessible, allowing managers across the company to see human capital data in a powerful new light, helping to support better-informed decisions.

With HRCharter, you can include virtually all of the data from your underlying HR system in your charts, and then use conditional mapping and colour coding to add impact to the information.

For example, you could allow managers to see charts containing salary or performance details for their direct and indirect reports to assist with reviews. Or, help HR professionals more quickly identify planning issues by graphically displaying succession candidates, skills distribution or workforce demographics in the context of the organisation structure.

Since charts are dynamically generated from your HR data, information is automatically updated as the underlying data changes, helping to ensure managers have access to the latest information.

See information more easily
HRCharter takes advantage of our ability to quickly understand data presented in a graphical format. Details about individuals and their responsibilities are more meaningful when viewed in the context of their peer groups and reporting relationships. Data about key HR issues, such as performance, age or skills distribution, can be more easily interpreted and have more impact when graphically mapped within an organisation hierarchy.

New release offers even better support for global deployment
Version 10 of HRCharter, to be released in November 2006, has been re-architected to be Unicode compliant, allowing Far Eastern, Russian and other non-Western characters to be displayed. The release also supports the Input Method Editor (IME) to allow easy input of Far Eastern characters using a Western keyboard.

Other features of the new release include the ability to display pictures in chart boxes in HRCharter Enterprise and increased database support, including support for SQL Server 2000 and 2005 (including Express Edition) and Oracle 9i and 10g (including Express Edition).

Integration options
HRCharter is available as an integrated option for Cezanne’s Enterprise and Connect HCM applications and can be deployed alongside other leading ERP and HRIS solutions including PeopleSoft/Oracle and SAP.
