Banca Popolare Pugliese selects HR & Talent Management software from Cezanne to help achieve its objectives to radically change the face of the bank
Banca Popolare Pugliese, one of the most important commercial banks in southern Italy, has selected Cezanne’s HR software for the management of its human capital. With the Cezanne Suite, Banca Popolare Pugliese (BPP) gains a flexible HR management and reporting system that is capable of meeting both its operational and managerial needs. Banca Popolare Pugliese will use the system on a licensed basis to manage over 800 employees.
Requirements
The main objective of the project is to provide Banca Popolare Pugliese with a solution for human capital management that can be integrated with other management systems and which, starting from the creation of a database of information about employees and the generation of dynamic organization charts, covers all areas of professional development, such as succession management and the evaluation of competencies and objectives. The project is part of a strategic plan for a broader organizational innovation that aims to radically change the face of the bank, moving the focus to customer satisfaction. The performance management and skills evaluation functionally of the Cezanne system will help the bank define and share goals and behaviors aligned with the new strategic plan.
Proposed solution
The solution chosen by Banca Popolare Pugliese includes all of the modules from Cezanne’s suite of HCM and Reporting solutions. In order to ensure the integrity of the project, as well as achieve planned goals and maximize return on investment, the system will be implemented in three phases. The first step is to set up the core system by integrating employee data from the payroll management system with the organizational structure of BPP. This phase will make use of the Cezanne People and HRCharter (organization charting) modules. The second phase will see the implementation of functionality for succession management, skills assessment, objectives management and administration of survey questionnaires using Cezanne’s Succession & Career, Performance and Survey modules. Phase three will address selection, training and pay using the Recruitment, Salary Analysis and Pay Review modules.
Main objectives
With Cezanne Enterprise, BPP’s goal is to put in place an HR solution that allows it to implement its management model and manage its human resources using tools that are focused on professional development. Alongside these are a number of other objectives:
- integrate the HR system with other management systems
- allow the creation, updating and dissemination of organization charts
- update the process for evaluating performance and skills to meet the new business model adopted in 2008
- manage succession plans
“BPP’s decision to have a system for Human Resource Management is part of a long term strategy”, says Giovambattista Romano, responsible for systems and technology at BPP. “Cezanne Enterprise and its reporting system appeared to be the solution most suited to our requirements for flexibility and accessibility, and for supporting our organization model and the strategic objectives that we have set.”
“The Cezanne Enterprise suite is a proven solution for organizations looking for systems for Human Capital Management that are functionality complete, but can be customized to meet specific needs”, says Nicola Uva, Commercial Director for Cezanne Software Italy & France. “The flexibility of the solution allows the implementation of each management module with very limited investment.”
