Cezanne Software will sponsor the 4th Italian Workshop on Semantic Web Applications and Perspectives, which takes place on 18-20 December 2007 in Bari.

Organized by the Department of Computer Science of the University of Bari, SWAP is one of the most important events held in collaboration with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Italian Office and attracts all of the most active researchers in the field.

SWAP 2007 provides a unique opportunity to bring together researchers and practitioners in the challenging area of Semantic Web technologies. In particular, SWAP 2007 aims at giving an overview of work going on in the (Italian) Semantic Web community. SWAP 2007 will feature a full tutorial day, talks by renowned experts in the field and two full days of scientific sessions. Importantly, the event also offers an informal forum for fruitful discussions on Semantic Web technologies.

Cezanne Software will support the event together with other leading international and Italian organizations, like IBM and DERI (Digital Enterprise Research Institute), and will present the results of its research experience in the integration of semantic web technologies into commercial HR applications.
